Board Members

Rajat Bhargava

Chairman

As Chairman of the Board, Rajat Bhargava provides strategic direction for the company. Mr. Bhargava is a seven-time entrepreneur with four exits (two IPOs, two trade sales, and three still private). He is a co-founder and board member of both Yesware, an email productivity service for sales people, and MobileDay, a mobile one-touch conferencing and meeting application. He was previously co-founder of Quova (acquired by Neustar), the market leader in Internet geolocation. Prior to Quova, Mr. Bhargava was co-founder of Interliant (public and subsequently acquired), a roll-up in the Web hosting space. Mr. Bhargava was also co-founder of Service Metrics (acquired by Exodus Communications), an Internet infrastructure monitoring company. Mr. Bhargava started his career in 1994 by co-founding NetGenesis (public and subsequently acquired), one of the original Web-site analytics companies.

Mr. Bhargava is a graduate of MIT, with a degree in Electrical Science and Engineering.

Brad Feld

Brad Feld has been an early stage investor and entrepreneur for more than 20 years. Prior to co-founding Foundry Group, he co-founded Mobius Venture Capital and, prior to that, founded Intensity Ventures, a company that helped launch and operate software companies and later became a venture affiliate of the predecessor to Mobius Venture Capital. Mr. Feld currently serves on the board of directors of Gnip, Oblong, and Zynga Game Network for Foundry Group. In addition to his investing efforts, Brad has been active with several non-profit organizations and currently is chairman of the National Center for Women & Information Technology and co-chairman of the Colorado Governor's Innovation Council. He is a nationally recognized speaker on the topics of venture capital investing and entrepreneurship and writes widely read and well respected blogs at www.feld.com and www.askthevc.com.

Mr. Feld holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Management Science from MIT.

Will Herman

As a serial entrepreneur, Will Herman has held various president, CEO and co-founder positions at companies such as Innoveda, Inc., Viewlogic Systems, Scopus Technology, Inc., Silerity, Inc., and Dataware Logic. Mr. Herman currently sits on the Board of Directors of four private companies, including StillSecure, AccuRev, Carbon Design, and TrustPlus. Previously, he held board positions with several other public and private companies, including Template Graphics Software, Hall Kinion, Rebar, Lexra, Quintus, Viewlogic Systems, Innoveda, Silerity, ChannelWave and Bionaut Pharmaceuticals.

 

Blake Heston

Blake Heston is a Vice President at W Capital Partners, a direct secondary private equity firm that invests in growth stage companies. Blake has more than eight years of investment and advisory experience and is involved in all aspects of deal sourcing, transaction analysis and portfolio management at W Capital. Prior to W Capital, Blake was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers where he worked on various M&A, leverage buyout and financing transactions for clients in the Technology M&A Group. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Blake was an analyst at First Albany Capital and focused on M&A and growth financings for middle-market companies in the healthcare, technology and industrial sectors. Blake holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
