StillSecure Safe Access^TM v3.5 Integrates Endpoint Policy Compliance into Information Assurance Infrastructure

(Louisville, Colo. – June 6, 2004) – StillSecure®, provider of an integrated suite of enterprise network security solutions, today announced StillSecure Safe Access v3.5, the industry’s first endpoint policy compliance solution with an open architecture capable of integrating with core IT infrastructure. v3.5 features the Safe Access Enterprise Integration Framework (EIF), an open architecture for programmatic access to the rich set of features and information in Safe Access. Safe Access EIF allows third-party solutions to control key Safe Access functions such as testing and quarantining, and the import and export of data to and from Safe Access.

Safe Access Enterprise Integration Framework
Through the Safe Access EIF, Safe Access can utilize data from other applications to more effectively enforce endpoint policy compliance. For example, Safe Access can quarantine a device based on data from an intrusion detection/prevention system (IDS/IPS) that detects attack traffic from that device. Other third-party integrations include network management, trouble ticketing, vulnerability management, and security information managers (SIMs).

StillSecure Safe Access v3.5 is will be available on July 1, 2005 from StillSecure or through any of its authorized resellers. Safe Access is available on an annual, fixed-cost subscription basis or through a purchase-plus-maintenance model based on the number of total users.
