(Louisville, Colo. - May 27, 2004) - StillSecure, a leading network security software provider to enterprises, today announced that CygnaCom Solutions has been contracted to conduct Common Criteria evaluation and testing for StillSecure VAM, the company's vulnerability management system. Common Criteria testing is an internationally recognized standard for IT security. Upon successful completion of the testing, StillSecure VAM will meet the Common Criteria for Information Technology Security at Evaluation Assurance Level 2 augmented with security policy model (EAL2+). This means that DoD and Intelligence Community consumers can purchase this product according to NSTISSP #11 and DoD 8500 acquisition policies.
StillSecure VAM eliminates security threats by managing all aspects of the vulnerability lifecycle - from discovery through testing, repairing, and reporting. Unlike scanners that only identify vulnerabilities, VAM is a total solution for systematically managing and eradicating vulnerabilities.

CygnaCom Solutions' Common Criteria Testing Laboratory (CCTL) is accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Assessment Program (NVLAP) and approved by the NIAP. The CygnaCom SEL performs Common Criteria evaluations in accordance with the NIAP Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS).
