The ProtectPoint™ Managed VPN service is an IPSec-based virtual private network solution that establishes secure connections from remote users into your network. The ProtectPoint VPN solution provides encryption, data integrity, and authentication. The VPN policies and certificate/key management are implemented and managed by ProtectPoint security analysts to ease the complexity of managing, monitoring, and maintaining VPN protocols from clients.

ProtectPoint Managed VPN is available in the following configurations:

Site To Site: The ProtectPoint VPN Gateway configuration provides AES 256 end-to-end secure connections between sites. Our VPN Appliance operates with many other leading industry VPN devices: Cisco VPN Concentrator, Cisco PIX, Cisco IOS, Netopia, Nortel (Bay Networks) Contivity 3.5 and later, Raptor Firewall, Gauntlet firewall GVPN, Checkpoint Firewall-1, Watchguard, Sonicwall and others.

SSL VPN Client: The ProtectPoint SSL VPN Client configuration gives mobile users an easy way to securely connect to the corporate network and access company resources. VPN clients are available for all major operating systems including Windows (Vista and XP), Mac OS X, and Linux. Client authentication is based on securely distributed SSL certificates, and the service uses a standard SSL port that bypasses restrictive network firewalls.
